Yvette Tan

Yvette Tan is a Technology Associate I at COPE. She is presently the curriculum writer for Teaching Cross-Cultural Understanding to Japanese Elementary Students Using American Picture Books, a project funded by the Japan Foundation's Center for Global Partnership. She has worked as an online curriculum developer, web designer and Flash applet developer for various COPE projects.

Her past experiences include working for educational "dot-coms," teaching at a bilingual preschool in Manila, training preschool teachers and developing curriculum for teaching reading, writing, and arithmetic in English and Mandarin. Yvette holds an Ed.M. from the Harvard University Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor of Science in Management from the Ateneo de Manila University.
