About Being a Facilitator
"One of the critical roles of the facilitator is to help teams to have an honest dialogue about their work. I try to create an environment that fosters honest communication. I feel like I'm doing my job well when teachers are challenging each other, and they're excited about their plans, and when they're excited about what students can accomplish. Creating a safe environment where this kind of dialogue happens is my major goal in facilitating teams through the Make It Happen! process."
