About the I-Search
"The I-Search Unit has made me a better teacher because its forced me, along with all of the other teachers in the group, to go out and learn a lot of new things ourselves. We've been making a lot of trips to libraries, and we've been going around town trying to figure out where we want to take field trips; visiting the Red Cross and talking about what they do. These kinds of things get you very excited as a teacher. A lot of people are talking about burnout and doing the same thing over and over again and we don't have time to talk about those things. We're always doing something new."
