About Being a Facilitator
"For five years, I was the facilitator for three seventh grade interdisciplinary
teams. During this time, I learned a lot about what I could do to help teachers
implement Make It Happen! I found that for me, good facilitation
is the ability to match the objectives of the program with the goals and
beliefs of individual teachers and the team as a whole. The key is the ability
to identify and locate the needed resources. These resources are varied
and include materials, planning time, student scheduling and technical assistance
to teachers in the classroom. "
