" I think one of the biggest benefits of using the I-Search was that
the students chose their questions and they became invested. It was easier
to keep them focused and on track and they were much more excited about
what they were doing and because of that I think they were willing to stretch
a little more. If you said, 'Well I think you need to move this way with
your question, ' they were willing to do it. Where as if it were something
you imposed on them, 'You will research molecules, ' they might not be willing
to go that extra little bit. "
