Customized Criteria

To help students organize their reports and include all of the required information, one team developed a We-Search Paper Criteria Check List based on the EDC model. Teachers reached consensus on point values for each item and the total point grade equivalents. Students (either independently or in groups) were given a copy of the check list before they began drafting their reports. Students reported relying on it heavily to make sure they had done a thorough job on their reports.
