June Mark

Senior Project Director

June Mark is Senior Project Director and Associate Director of the Center for Mathematics Education. She currently co-directs the NSF-funded K-12 Mathematics Curriculum Center with Deborah Spencer, which supports districts in selecting and using standards-based mathematics curriculum. Previously, June was a researcher on the Teacher Leadership for Systemic Reform project, investigating how teacher leadership supports and sustains mathematics and science reform. Her prior work also includes co-directing Connected Geometry, an NSF-funded curriculum project developing instructional materials for secondary mathematics teachers and students. She also led research and evaluation efforts for the Community Technology Centers' Network, documenting and researching the impacts that community-based learning centers have on the lives of their primarily minority and low-income participants and their communities. She has a Ed.M. from Harvard Graduate School of Education, a B.A. in mathematics, and a B.S.E. in decision sciences from the University of Pennsylvania.
