Modern Women Graduates Find the War's Not Over - Times Online
A study of the 6,000 women who graduated from Girton College, Cambridge,
throughout the 20th century has found that many women undergraduates have
unrealistically high expectations of their future working lives because
they rarely encounter sexual discrimination until they leave university.
Earlier generations of women had to cope with gender bias, hostility and
opposition during their childhood.
