Session #2

                             Meet the Author:
                        Discussion and Book Signing
                 with Gender Matters Author Harilyn Rousso

Join us for a Meet the Author event with Harilyn Rousso, Executive Director
of Disabilities Unlimited Consulting Services and co-author of the WEEA
Equity Resource Center's latest publication, Gender Matters: Training for
Educators Working with Students with Disabilities. An inservice training
program for teachers and other professionals, Gender Matters is one of the
few resources specifically designed to enable those who work with students
with disabilities to understand their legal responsibilities under Title IX
and to provide gender equitable education. The second in our new Equity
Brown Bag series, this event will include a question and answer session
with Harilyn, and a book signing.

      DATE: August 13, 2002

Free Disability resource packet available to everyone who attends.

This Brown Bag also will provide excellent background information for an
exciting on-line Dialogue with the Experts to be held August 19-23, on
EdEquity, the WEEA Center's international discussion list. The Dialogue
will feature guest panelists who are education experts in the field of
disabilities. Instructions for subscribing to the on-line discussion are
