RE: Gender style and testing method

The WA state student assessments ask for more open ended student
responses and test higher level learning. At the fourth grade level
girls are scoring as well or better on the assessments. There is
probably enough information now to do some research in this state on the
4th and 7th grade levels in reading and mathematics for gender and race
performance differences.
