In your original message you make it sound as though this is something to be
careful of. If one girl gets her period you can be pretty sure that other girls
are going to hear about it, chances are they already have heard about "the
curse" or their "monthly friend." No matter how uncomfortable adults might feel
about giving third graders sex education, it's better that they get factual
information, instead of myths and rumors.
