Sorry, that is just way too judgmental for me to be silent around. I do not
know the class conditions of the writer but I do know from my own life while
raising two daughters on my own, working full time and going to school full time
in a (successful) attempt to get off of welfare, that butting heads with a
middle class school system that was not supportive of our economic conditions
and a PTA that was distinctly unwelcoming of my presence, that making a "career"
out of ensuring my daughters received a healthy education was not an option.
Please, a little kindness would be appreciated.
