    I remember, in preparing for a speech on the subject of the pervasiveness
    of women's pay inequity in the early '80's, that the U.S. Bureau of Labor
    Statistics Wage Report, wherein the statistics on pay are found, was using
    as comparative populations to measure the lifetime earnings, men with a
    high school degree in comparison with women with a college degree. Is this
    still the measure in the BLS? Carlotta
