Call for Articles on Educational Equity

Making Schools Work for Every Child is the theme of the October 2000
issue of ENC Focus: A Magazine for Classroom Innovators. Educators are
invited to submit articles on how they are dealing with the issue
of educational equity in their classrooms, schools, and districts.

As always, content should be of interest to teachers of K-12 mathematics
and science. Articles should be grounded in the national educational
standards while being short (500 to 2,000 words) and compelling.

Deadline for submission of articles for the equity issue is March 1,
2000. To submit article proposals or manuscripts or to ask questions,
please contact Focus editor Annette Thorson at athorson@enc.org or
    call (614) 292-3728.
