UPDATE: The dates for the last GESA training showed up on this list
after the training dates had passed. Hopefully, people interested in
attending will have time to plan and attend this training.

The necessity of high expectations for all students has been identified
repeatedly as an essential factor for educational success for all
students. GESA examines five areas of disparity in classrooms and
identifies ten teacher-student interaction patterns that have been shown
to have a powerful impact on student achievement.

    NEW TRAINING DATES:
A Generating Expectation for Student Achievement (GESA) Facilitator
Training will be offered on May 15-17, in Elk Grove, CA (near
Sacramento). The cost will be $250 for a three day training!!! For more
information or to register contact Pam Miller by e-mail or by phone.
