    Let me put my own two cents into the mix here. While I like the concept of
    a teacher listening to students, to have the teacher guided by the students
    is the worst possible nightmare I could imagine as a student. Why am I in
    the class? Because I don't know about the subject and the teacher does.
    Certainly I don't want a completely authoritative teacher, but when the
    time
    comes, the teacher has to make a decision about the classroom, even if its
    unpopular at first.
