Amber, if indeed you support Title IX, why don't you join this
discussion as a friend, not a combatant? You are smart enough to change
your mind, or at least your strategy. Verna Williams heads the National
Women's Law Center; which, together with the NOW Legal Defense and
Education Fund, are the country's foremost legal advocates of gender
equity on all fronts. Surely your place is with, even if disagreeing on
some interpretation, rather than against.
