Hello everyone:

This has been a remarkable and enlightening discussion focusing on the
issues and concerns of Title IX successes and continuing challenges for
educators,equity specialist, policy makers and promoters of gender equity.
Thanks you for your participation.

Next week,two more panelists will join us in this discussion. I will post
their opening statements after this message, so please welcome them. The
current panelists have been very informative and will continue with us for
another week of discussion, so keep sending questions and comments.

Format:

To focus attention on this discussion, only messages related to the 30th
Anniversary of Title IX will be posted to EDEQUITY from May 20-31, 2002.
Posting of all other messages will resume on Monday, June 3, 2002.

If you are just joining us, please refer to the opening statement from each
