High school softball in Wisconsin has always been fast pitch. It is the
sport with the highest number of female participants. Perhaps because of
that, most colleges and universities in the state DO offer intercollegiate
fastpitch softball. And most towns/cities in the state, large or small,
offer city league softball (which is mostly fastpitch, sometime slow pitch).
