In Nebraska, we also had activity by the National Women's Law Center which
helped establish fast pitch softball at the secondary level as a sanctioned
sport as well as challenged school districts to meet girls' interest to
particuipate in fast pitch at the secondary level through OCR complaints
and court filings, all of which have had tremendous impact on athletics in
Nebraska public schools.
