Interesting you should bring this up. I have no solutions for this young
woman's problem, but I do sympathise! I was not brought up in this country
and
therefore am not familiar with high school graduation ceremonies. I am
currently working in a university building where high school graduations
are
taking place each day this week. I noticed that the boys are wearing blue
robes
and the girls white ones. I was VERY surprised at this differentiation. I
attended my own graduate school graduation last week, and fortunately
everyone
wore the same robe; as it should be.
