    Hi. This definition hangs in my office.

    Gender Equity- whether applied to business, education or sports, a simple
    "rule of thumb" definition is: if the men's program would be willing to
    trade places with the women's program (this includes salaries,
    opportunities
    for promotion and participation, and budget) then there is gender equity.
