The National Education Association (NEA) seeks qualified applicant to
manage program and coordinate substantive work (school safety, bilingual
education,vouchers, minority achievement, women's issues, high stakes
testing,
affirmative action) in the Human and Civil Rights area. Requires
bachelor's degree or above in education, social policy, public policy
analysis, law or
equiv. Five years experience in human and civil rights field and/or
education or equiv. including advocating, lobbying and organizing national
programs
and activities. Experience with issues such as school safety, bilingual
education, vouchers, minority achievement, women's issues, high stakes
testing, and/or
affirmative action. Experience working with national advocacy agencies and
