[EDEQUITY]Beyond Title 9 in Varsity and Junior Varsity Sports

I don't think that all schools run their track meets the way you
described, with boys always first and girls' jv always last. In my limited
experience, they often run boys and girls events simultaneously to the
extent that they can, or trade off who goes first. However, JV often does
run all
last, but they might alternate which gender's event is first. You might
check with the coach, athletic director, and/or meet director to find out
why your daughter's experience is happening. I think it can be changed. I
think you're right that if it happens all the time, it sends a negative
message
to the athletes, both boys and girls.
