July's EdEquity Dialogue with the Experts will be on Technology and Equity.
The discussion will take place from Monday, July 16 to Friday, July 20.
The panelist include:
Cornelia Brunner, Assistant Director, Center for Children and Technology,
New York, NY
Donna Milgram, Executive Director, Institute for Women in Trade, Technology
and Science, Alameda, CA
Format
To focus attention on this discussion, only messages related to Technology
and Equity will be posted to EDEQUITY from July 16 to 20. Posting of all
other messages will resume on Monday, July 23.
The Dialogue will begin with an opening statement form each of the
panelists posted to the list at 10:00 a.m.on Monday,July 16. You are
encouraged to react, comment , and ask questions. Please note that for this
dialogue, you can send in questions before hand to the EDEQUITY
administrator at edequity-admin@mail.edc.org and we will forward it to the
panelists for their response during the dialogue. Responses will be posted
throughout the week. At 4 p.m. on Friday, July 20, the panelists will post
their closing statements. The Dialogue will officially end at 5 p.m.
