[EDEQUITY Technology] Barbie, Encouraging your child to play...

This statement is responding to the EdEquity Expert Dialogue on Technology
and equity, July 16-20, 2001.
The bigger problem with Barbie is that somewhere around 80% of them are
made
in sweat shops, perhaps by children the same age as might be encouraged to
play with them. Please don't support this abuse ... encourage your
children
to play with toys that are good for them, for other children and the
planet.
