             Engaging Middle School Girls in Math and Science

Engaging Middle School Girls in Math and Science is an online professional
development course for educators. The 8-week curriculum created by
specialists at the Women's Educational Equity Act Resource Center and the
New England Comprehensive Assistance Center is designed to explore new ways
of increasing girls' interest and participation in math and science. The
end result is equitable classrooms that stimulate learning for boys and
girls. Join educators from around the country in an online course designed
to explore ways to increase girls' interest and participation in math and
science. Build on what you already know about good instructional practice
and develop more equitable classrooms that stimulate learning for both boys
and girls.

Tuition:
$80 per individual registrant
$60 per person for teams of two or more
$40 additional fee to receive credit from Antioch University

Registration deadline:
September 14, 2001

Course dates:
October 1 through December 9, 2001
