The Gender and Diversities Institute at Education Development Center, Inc.
is pleased to announce "Raising and Educating Boys: Developing Strengths
and Connection in a Changing World, " an online professional development
course for educators at all levels. The course will take an in-depth look
at the current discussion about boys' development and the role of schools
in supporting healthy development and academic achievement. Participants
will have an opportunity to actively explore these issues as members of an
online community composed of other interested educators.
Please note that course registration has been extended until October 5 and
the course will now begin on October 13, 2001. More information about the

website, or print the registration form available at the end of this
message. Please register as soon as possible as class space is limited .
