[EDEQUITY]Barbie Doll Statistics...

This message is responding to a posting on EdEquity listserv in October,
seeking body images activities etc.

Several good activities have been developed for younger girls comparing
real
statistics with Barbie Doll statistics. A search of math ed activities
might
turn up the articles, as I've forgotten exactly where I've seen
them--probably Teaching Children Mathematics, but it could be Mathematics
Teaching in the Middle School.

donewith teen girls for a mentoring program? I welcome any and all
