CA Found The Answer?

I did a workshop at the NCTM National Meeting in San Diego last week
dealing with increasing enrollment of females in Mathematics courses. I
was told by more than one California teacher that that is not a problem
in their state. One teacher even indicated that California graduates more
female Ph.Ds in mathematics than males!
Does anyone have some data that supports this?
