Sociologists Against Sexual Harassment is an interdisciplinary
organization of educators, researchers, practitioners, and consultants
from the social sciences, the legal profession, human services, and equal
opportunity groups and agencies whose shared interest is a desire to
meaningfully and practically address the problem of sexual harassment.
Each SASH conference is co-sponsered by a national sociology
organization, the Society for the Study of Social Problems, which, like
SASH, has a strong committment to professional activism. Presenters at
SASH 96 come from a variety of geographic locations around the
globe and across the U.S. and Canada.
SASH 96 includes the following panels:
