EDEQUITY's next online panel discussion on ethnicity and gender will take place
June 12-18. Panelists and participants will address the question "How Can Gender
Equity and Diversity Be Combined to Affect Change in Education?" This is a
particularly timely issue because of the attacks on education, equity and
diversity. How can supporters of gender equity and/or diversity work together to
protect education and effectively combat threats to social justice. We expect
this to be a provocative discussion that outlines issues and provides solutions
and invite you to participate.
Our panelists will be Melissa Keyes and Emiliano Zapata. The list administrator
will moderate the discussion. The discussion will begin with their statements
tomorrow afternoon.
