As a school counselor, I just got a catalogue this week from "Talk, Trust,
and Feel Therapeutics" a catalogue called "Anger Release Programs for
Children" -- a catalog of Toys, Books and Curriculums to Teach Children
Positive Social Skills --
on page 7, there is a "Super Hero Cape" ("only" $24.95)
the "pitch" says
"What do wiggly boys long for? Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No,
teachers, i'ts SUPER HERO CAPE to your rescus. Even little girls want to
be SuperHeros and wear our capes. "
EVEN little girls?
can't a little girl long for a super hero cape? to fly?
I think <I> need an Anger Release Program after seeing this! Who would
trust their a "therapeutic" company like this to provide "toys, books and
curriculums (sic) to teach children positive social skills?" Geesch!!!
