*School to Career Coordinator*
McREL is currently seeking a professional to develop a
School-to-Career (STC) Program. Duties will include: building
networks and securing funding to meet organizational objectives;
gathering intelligence on state and national STC policy and
program initiatives; providing technical assistance to
educational agencies and districts; making presentations and
conducting training sessions for a variety of audiences,
including teachers, administrators, state department officials,
parents, legislators and community members.
Successful candidate will possess a doctoral degree or equivalent
combination of education and experience; a knowledge base
of current issues in school-to-career and school reform; a proven
track record in program and contract development;
successful experience working as a team member and fostering
cooperation; computer literacy and a willingness to travel.
