I agree with Gaea Honeycutt. To judge Women's Wire on the basis of the
forwarded piece is impossible. It could be that they are doing something
positive to help women expand their vision and make their way in the world of
work.

When I was a child in the 50s, the phrase "Careers for Women" meant teaching
and nursing and not much else; I can see how it made Barbara Tavares' hackles
rise. But I doubt this is the case here. Perhaps the phrase should be
construed as "'Careers,' for Women."
