In all of the recent press coverage of the drop-off in minority admissions
to this year UC law and medical schools, did anyone notice if the gender
proportions had changed as well? Were fewer women admitted this year than
in the past? Interesting to see if, and when, Prop 209 will affect women's
status as well as minorities'.
