The U.S. Department of [EDUCATION], Office of Elementary and
Secondary [EDUCATION], requires a contractor for 12 months
with four 12-month option periods to operate a center that will
serve the dissemination, technical assistance and publication
needs of the Women's [EDUCATIONAL] Equity Act grantees as
well as other [EDUCATORS] involved in the field of gender equity.
Requests for copies of the RFP may be made by telephone,
mail, telegram, Internet, or in person. All requests shall
reference placed by calling 202-708-6498. Mail or telegram
requests shall be sent to the above address. The Internet
address is: Yolanda_Abney@Ed.Gov or Thom_ Adams@Ed.Gov.
Copies of the RFP may be picked up in person on issue date at
the same address. Issuing date is 9/30/97 and Closing date
10/15/97.
All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be
considered.
