This just in: The MIT Program in Women's Studies is presenting a session
titled "Coordinating Academic and Biological Clocks: Parenting and Tenure."
It will take place on Wed., Oct. 29 at 4:30 in Room 10-250. Speakers are
Anne Preston (SUNY, Stoneybrook), Shirley Malcom (Amer. Assn. for the
Advancement of Science) and Virginia Valian (Hunter College and CUNY
Graduate Center and author of "Why So Slow? The Advancement of Women").
Moderator is Lotte Bailyn, T. Wilson Prof. of Management and Chair of
the Faculty at MIT.
