Re: Opportunity to Apply for an "All Means All" School-to-Work
Award

Are you working toward providing School-to-Work Opportunities that meet t=
he =

future goals of ALL types of learners? Have you developed strategies in =
this =

area that are working? If you answered "yes" for your partners or someon=
e you =

know, we want to hear about it!

We are sending this announcement to introduce our new project, "Ensuring =
ALL =

Means ALL in the Provision of School-to-Work Opportunities." This projec=
t is =

one of 28 Multi-district outreach projects funded by the Federal Office o=
f =

Special Education and Rehabilitative Services. It is three years in leng=
th and =

is jointly sponsored by the Minnesota Department of Children, Families, &=
=

Learning and the Institute on Community Integration at the University of =

Minnesota. =

Purpose of the Project
The purpose of this project is to use an Award Nomination process to reco=
gnize =

and celebrate the efforts of local school-to-work partners who are commit=
ted to =

doing "whatever it takes" to ensure access and benefit by ALL LEARNERS wi=
thin =

their local school-to-work system.

This project is searching for those around the country using a strategy t=
hat all
learners are accessing and benefitting from within their school-to-work s=
ystem. =

It may be a strategy used in a community setting, by a business, or in a =
school =

setting. Any organization can be nominated to become an All Means All =

School-to-Work Award site. An organization can nominate themselves or ano=
ther =

organization they feel deserves to become an award site.

Please consider:
=A5 completing an All Means All School-to-Work Award Nomination;
=A5 sharing this information with others who may be interested in nomina=
ting =

themselves or another partner in school-to-work for the award;
