Dear Kim,

Would it be OK for me to post the following on the FIVERS discussion
list? I read your post on the ABIGAILS list, where it was reposted by an
EDEQUITY subscriber. FIVERS stands for Feminists against Intimate Violence
Empowerment, Resistance and Support and reaches some 150 shelter workers, anti-
rape activists, attorneys, teachers, counsellors, etc. in the U.S., Canada and
half a dozen other countries.

Could you clarify what you mean by "aggies" and "cut site"?

Remember that ubiquitous misogynists's nest, the TALKMAN discussion list and
how Texas A&M University (TAMU) snubbed detailed letters and e-mails from a
dozen of us for months before finally it was finally closed down?
Here is more from the same institution and a local activist asking for help
on how to oppose it. Beside supplying her with the names and addresses of
TAMU Regents, can we offer advice? (Crossposted from the ABIGAILS and
EDEQUITY lists, with the author's permission)

i was hoping that you could give tamu now some advice on how
to proceed in this delicate situation.

to bring you up to pace, texas a&m has been undergoing this
ludicruous 'civil' war concering the annual bonfire that
the aggies have each year.
