It is unfortunate, but in Texas, there is NO liability for schools in
regard to peer sexual harassment.

I just brought in an attorney with the Texas Civil Rights Reporter to do a
workshop and she brought this unfortunate news. In other states, schools
have been held liable, but our 5th Circuit Court has been explicit in
their ruling that no school district will be liable for student on student
harassment.

A Title IX complaint can be filed, but there is no recourse for
accountablity in the court system. This particular court has set back
civil rights in Texas at least ten years.
