Hello EDEQUITY subscribers & happy new year!

Please send messages for the EDEQUITY Discussion List to the following address:
<edequity@mail.edc.org>

Please include your name or e-mail address. Some electronic mail systems
indicate that messages are sent from EDEQUITY rather than give the return
address of the sender. If not included in the body of the message, the
sender's information is lost. (Part of the user's guide is below.)

Also, you can view past EDEQUITY discussion by date, thread, author, or subject
on the web site at www.edc.org/WomensEquity/edequity

Best wishes,
Julia Potter

Send messages for the list directly to <edequity@mail.edc.org>
An e-mail message sent to EDEQUITY will be distributed to all subscribers
of the Internet list. Be sure to end with your name and/or e-mail address.

3. MESSAGE FORMAT:
-Relate your message to some aspect of educational equity as defined in
the introduction above.

-Make sure to use descriptive headings so that others will know if that
topic interests them.

-When sending a message to the list, ALWAYS put your name and e-mail
address at the end of every posting so that people can identify you and
respond to you privately if they wish.

-When replying to someone else's message, include only a few lines of
their original message (including the whole message takes up a lot of
space and discourages others from reading your message).

-Remember that not everyone on EDEQUITY is an Internet veteran and may
not understand some conventions that seem second nature to you. Please
explain items in your messages fully.
