I do not want to sound sarcastic or cynical. It is not my intention. But the
fact and the matter is that boys do not need that ''special'' encouragement in
math or science because the whole educational system is geared towards the
''education''of boys. For a while there has been an issue being discussed here
regardind the legality of ''single sex'' education. Ihave not had time to
contribute anything to that discussion but as far as muy husband and I are
concerned the public school our daughter attends might as well be ""for boys
only'' because that's all they teach here in ''sophisticated''
Long Island. The whole curriculun these schools have is aimed at one direction
and that direction is MALE.
