The public schools in Kansas were funded by the state before (and
after) the Brown decision. The public schools in Kanses (Topeka, to be
exact) continued to segregate on the basis of race after the decision.
More litigation followed. What we may have here is a developing issue
for the courts as to sex segregation. Oh, joy. The Brown case was
very carefully filed after tremendous strategy planning on the part of the
plaintiff and friends. Let's carefully proceed ourselves
