We have held Expanding Your Horizon conferences for years here in
NE. While these are sessions specifically designed for girls, we do say
that they are open to boys. The design of the program is quite
female-friendly and we make it clear that the purpose of the event is to
encourage females to enjoy math/science by meeing and working with
females involved in those professions. Doe that help your issue? :-)
