There is the line that we are different, and vive la difference, so we
need not be equal, but we should get equity. Equity is fair treatment;
and there is such a thing as a reasonable women's standard in the
courts. This is right on the border of being muddled thinking, but it is
current thinking. Historically, Buda is one city, and Pest is another;
they are joined as Budapest, but that does not make them equal, it just
makes them capable of demanding equal treatment. Linda Purrington
