I agree, we need a better term for this.
I understand your concerns at workshops, etc. for I am asked the same
questions (where are the stats on males) when I throw out all the stats on
females. I have found that adding just the small amount of information I have
regarding males not only is more equitable on my part, but it places the
audience in a position where they are more willing to listen and hear what I
have to say regrading females. It is a win-win situation.
