An anecdote: my son and his girl friend came back from their driver ed class
complaining about their sexist teacher. Seems he made comment after comment
about how boys were the problem, boys were the drivers who acted like jerks,
etc. They were really offended.

I'm with Robert. Boys are subjected to a lot of labeling and stereotyping, for
instance in early childhood at school when they do not conform to norms of
style and behavior that are mostly set by, and geared for, females. A "good
guys=females, bad guys = males" approach is counterproductive to achieving
understanding and social justice. We have to be willing to look at all aspects
of gender equity.
