I read for the Phi Beta Kappa Award in Science. I have read for two years
now and no women's books have been entered (except for two or three that
were co-authored). Please if you know of an eligible book, have it
nominated by the publisher. I cannot believe that women scientists do not
books for the general public!!
The prize is $2500.
The book must have been published between May 1, 1997 and April 30, 1998.
It must be original, single authored, of broad interest (not technical). It
must be U.S. authored and publisehd. Entries must be submitted by the
publisher. The deadline is April 30, 1998. The entries must be accompanied
by a letter. Questions should be addressed to Phi Beta Kappa, 1811 Q
