HUMAN RIGHTS HERE AND NOW: Celebrating the Universal Declaration of
Human Rights, a publication of the Human Rights Educators' Network of
Amnesty International USA, Human Rights USA and The Stanley Foundation.
To address the lack of knowledge that most people in the U.S. have about
the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the organizations mentioned
above have jointly published this book as a new educational resource.
The book is intended for use both by community groups and teachers in
elementary and secondary schools. It provides background information,
ideas for taking action, and interactive exercises to help young people
learn about the human rights guaranteed in the UDHR.

Individual copies are FREE UPON REQUEST. Contact: Human Rights USA
Resource Center, 310 Fourth Avenue South, Suite 1000, Minneapolis, MN
55415-1012. Toll-free number: 888-HREDUC8 or email: hrusa@tc.umn.edu
